Mesa, Arizona – It’s about community!

Mesa, Arizona has long been my home… having relocated to the East Valley over three decades ago.  I have loved the communities where we purchased homes and made friends in the neighborhoods, and I have participated in many local events – some for fun, others for business, and still more in my quest to provide philanthropic support in the community I call home.

If you have lived here for any length of time, you know the area’s year-round event calendar is full of fun things to see, do and enjoy! I have enjoyed off-Broadway shows at our many theaters, including the state-of-the-art Mesa Arts Center. I have been thoroughly entertained  by a wide array of exhibits featured in our nationally-recognized museums.  I still plan to attend a farm-to-fork dinners at local farms and orchards, and learn more about Arizona wine and local growers during a pairing dinner. Not to be forgotten is the peach pie found during  harvest season at annual Schnepf Farms and the wayfaring steps back in time at the Arizona Renaissance Festival.

Arizona Museum of Natural History The discoveries are endless, such as the current Movie and Fun at the Arizona Museum of Natural History…

Arizona Auto Insurance FACTS…

Arizona Auto Insurance FactsLike any other state, Arizona has its unique driving perils… dust storms and flash floods make our roads dangerous, regardless (of) the driver’s on-road abilities. These unexpected possibilities are just a couple of reasons the state requires auto insurance coverage on every vehicle; do you know all that is required to be included in that coverage?

Many drivers do not, and some do not realize if they (don’t) secure adequate coverage the state can suspend either (their) driver’s license or vehicle registration.

Many drivers move to the state and do not follow the mandates for registering the vehicle in Arizona and obtaining insurance coverage at the earliest possible date. It is important to know the levels of coverage required in Arizona; those in the policy from the state where you previously resided may not be acceptable here.

When you speak with an insurance agent, it is best that you understand the minimum levels of coverage, which include:

Bodily Injury Liability Coverage: Minimum $15,000 per person / $30,000 per accident

Property Damage Liability Coverage: Minimum $10,000

Note: You will also want to have a discussion with a licensed agent relative to possible rejection of Uninsured and Underinsured coverages, and to determine whether, depending on your needs, you should choose higher coverage limits to more fully protect yourself.

Uninsured Motorist Bodily Injury Coverage: Minimum $15,000 per person / $30,000 per accident

Underinsured Motorist Bodily Injury Coverage: Minimum $15,000 per person / $30,000 per accident

Another insurance option not always understood by drivers is the Safety Glass Non-Deductible Option that can be found as an offering in policies with comprehensive deductible. This option eliminates the need to pay a deductible when repairing or replacing safety glass on your covered vehicle, and normally applies to the windshield and windows.

Five Tips for Getting Accurate Car Insurance Quotes

Did you know that car insurance quotes for the exact same car can vary depending on whether you live in City Center or Kyrene in Tempe, AZ? The primary garaging location for your vehicle is one of many factors that affects the actual cost of your automobile insurance. That’s only one important fact to know when you’re shopping around for car insurance quotes. In fact, the more information you can provide to insurance agents when looking for the best policy, the more accurate the quote you get will be. The following five tips will help you get the most accurate car insurance quotes, and ultimately, the best car insurance for your needs.

Five Tips

  1. Provide as much information as possible. In addition to your car’s make, model and year, be prepared to provide the mileage, condition and any safety or security enhancements like car alarms and built-in child safety seats.
  2. Provide personal information and vehicle information. When the insurance company does a risk assessment, you – the primary driver – are part of the risk they’re assessing. Your age and marital status, whether you have kids and whether you own a home are considered along with your driving record.
  3. Make sure your are comparing similar policies. The premiums for comprehensive coverage will be more expensive than compulsory coverage, but a comprehensive policy provides far more protection than compulsory insurance.
  4. Request an insurance review whenever you make a major life change. Don’t just check car insurance quotes when you buy a new car or your insurance is up for renewal. Talk to your insurance agent if you move, change jobs, get married, have a child or reach another life milestone. Many of those changes may qualify you for lower insurance rates.
  5. Always get car insurance quotes from local insurance agents. They know your community better than anyone else, and can offer advice that’s specific to drivers in Tempe.

We’re proud to be part of the community in Tempe and to provide excellent service to drivers in the 85280 zip code. Call us or use our quote submission tool to request a car insurance quote and learn more about the many types of insurance coverage we offer.
